Selection
Benzalkonium Chloride
Quaternary ammonium compound widely used as an active ingredient in disinfectant and sanitizing formulations for surfaces. It also provides cationic surfactant properties and an antistatic effect in the formula. Its use in disinfection is carried out in accordance with applicable health regulations.
Carbomer
Cross-linked acrylic polymer, the global standard for thickening and stabilizing gels and emulsions. Once neutralized, it produces transparent gels with a characteristic rheology, and it suspends particles and actives with great efficiency at low use levels.
Sodium Hydroxide
Fundamental alkali of the cleaning industry: it saponifies fats, neutralizes sulfonic acids, and adjusts the pH of all kinds of formulas. It is the base of heavy-duty degreasers, drain openers, and CIP cleaners in the food industry. A high-turnover raw material in soap and detergent manufacturing.
Citric Acid
Benchmark acidulant in the food and beverage industry, obtained by fermentation. It provides acidity and citrus notes, regulates pH, and acts as a metal sequestrant that supports color and flavor stability. Its versatility makes it a warehouse staple for multiple industries.
Cocamidopropyl Betaine
Coconut-derived amphoteric surfactant, a cornerstone of mild cleansing formulas. It boosts and stabilizes foam, reduces the irritation potential of anionic surfactants, and adds viscosity to shampoos and liquid soaps.
Isopropyl Alcohol
Fast-evaporating polar solvent, widely used in surface cleaning, electronics, and industrial processes. It is the base of disinfectant formulations and equipment cleaning products due to its miscibility with water and low residue. It is also used as a diluent in inks and coatings.
Anionic surfactant with high detergent and foaming power, the base of most liquid and powder detergents on the market. It is neutralized with caustic soda or other bases to form the active sulfonate in the formula. It is the reference raw material for dishwashing liquids, multi-purpose detergents, and degreasers for household and institutional use.
Sodium Laureth Sulfate
Versatile anionic surfactant, valued for its foaming capacity and its compatibility with other surfactants. It responds well to salt thickening, which makes it easy to formulate products with attractive viscosity at low cost. Used in dishwashing liquids, liquid soaps, shampoos, and multi-purpose cleaners.
