Sulfamic Acid

Solid acid that is safer to handle than liquid mineral acids, used as a descaler for scale, oxides, and calcareous deposits on equipment and facilities. It is the base of acid cleaners for boilers, heat exchangers, coils, and sanitary surfaces. Its controlled action reduces the risk of excessive attack on metals compared with other strong acids.
